Jack’s Secret Suspension and Kevin’s Tough Response
It starts when Kevin’s sister, Debbie Webster, gets a call from Jack’s school. Jack has been involved in a fight and is suspended because of it. Desperate to defend her nephew – and perhaps to spare Kevin further worry as he is having chemotherapy – Debbie gets the school to lift the suspension and instructs Jack to keep it to himself.
But by Thursday, April 03, the secret comes out. Kevin learns the truth in a fury and forbids Jack from going to the end-of-term party. Later, having treatment, Kevin talks things over with Abi and confesses that he might have been too harsh. And worse is yet to come.
Coronation Street: E-Scooters, Drinks, and a Bistro Bust-Up
Jack steals away with Hope Dobbs. There, they see a couple of e-scooters abandoned by Toyah Habeeb and Nick Tilsley. Jack pays to unlock them – on Kevin’s credit card. While the two are out for a ride, Hope takes out a bottle of booze from her bag, and the teenagers start drinking.
They’re soon identified by officers Craig Tinker and Jess Heywood – and their dads are on the scene just a few minutes later. Things quickly escalate as Kevin finds out about the credit card, the alcohol, and all the other secrets Jack has been keeping.
Later in the day, Tyrone encounters Kevin having a drink alone in the bistro. What begins as a worried check-up quickly turns into an angry altercation. The two start accusing one another’s child. Now that their children are back in the mix again, Kevin and Tyrone’s friendship may be on the brink of serious collapse. Can they reel it back in?
