The sky seems to be turning pink once again for Todd Grimshaw on Coronation Street! The latest spoilers indicate that a past lover could find their way back to town, which could ultimately lead to reignited sparks between the duo. But is Todd prepared for this change in his life?
Todd’s portrayer, Gareth Pierce, has recently teased that his past lover, Moses, could return to the cobbles for a reunion. For the unversed, last year, Todd Grimshaw and Moses Ekundayo struck an unlikely romance when the latter arrived in town. However, their canoodling with each other was cut short when Moses lost his job and had to move back to London.
Michael Fatogun had joined the soap as Moses in 2023 in a guest capacity. His character arrived as Paul Foreman’s personal assistant. However, he was shortly fired, when Paul’s mom, Bernie Winter, complained about him. However, Gareth Pierce recently revealed that Moses could once again return to Cobbles, as Corrie boss Iain MacLeod previously stated that last year’s fling could lead to something ‘long-running later on’.
“We tried to instill as much spark as we could in that short-ish time that the characters were together,” the Todd actor told Digital Spy. Furthermore, he added that Ian created Moses’ Coronation Street exit in a way that he became Todd’s “one who got away”. So, whenever the character returns to the fold, he and Todd will always have a chance to turn their fling into a real relationship.

Gareth added that there have been references to the fact that he’s getting on now. Todd is going to be 40 in January next year, so there’s been the odd reference to “still living at home, nearly 40”. Thus, he is really looking forward to what could possibly happen between Todd and Moses. Honetsly, we want to find out too!
