Things are already unstable for Todd Grimshaw in Coronation Street and will get even more complicated next week. The undertakers become the center of some surprising drama, and secrets, suspicions, and slap-downs are in the works across the cobbles. Let‘s just say that what Todd believes he knows about Theo will change again.
Todd Meets The Whole Package – and It’s Not What He Expected
When Todd was trying to understand that Theo Silverton is married to a woman, he was confronted with another bombshell—two. Theo’s teenage children, Miles and Millie, suddenly appeared at the undertakers to offer their condolences for their deceased grandmother.
Still reeling from Theo’s previous reveal, Todd is totally caught off guard. He never thought he’d be face to face with Theo’s whole family arrangement.
The shock makes him agitated, particularly since Theo still avoids genuine responsibility for his secret life. Theo‘s surprise callers pose large questions for Todd.
Is this the end of the line? Has he been deluding himself regarding what their future could have been? The emotional cost is beginning to reveal itself – and it might just drive Todd over the edge.
Coronation Street: Missing Money, Rising Tensions, And A Salon Showdown
Over at Underworld, tensions are high after Julie Carp‘s donation fund goes missing in mysterious circumstances. Friends and neighbors had been collecting money to send Julie on the vacation of her dreams upon discovering her terminal cancer. But with the money gone, suspicion immediately settles on a delivery driver – the softest target.
But George Shuttleworth is not so sure. In a low-key chat with Eileen Grimshaw, he reveals he thinks Sean Tully might be behind it all. George mentions that Sean had previously borrowed £500 from Glenda and looked desperate at the time. With Brody goading him, George speculates that maybe Sean had been driven too far.
At the same time, pandemonium breaks out at the salon when Maria Connor confronts the new arrival, Lou Michaelis. Lou, who is working a trial shift, instantly gets on the wrong side of Maria. Matters worsen dramatically as Lou throws hair dye in frustration.
Later, Lou confides in her new friend Gemma Winter. She tells her that she has a young son and is extremely concerned about him, which might account for some of her anxiety and emotional tantrums. Whether this new friendship serves to get Lou on her feet in Weatherfield is yet to be seen.
With secrets spilling over and surprise twists everywhere, there will be more than a few shocks next week on Coronation Street. For Todd, the biggest question is: can he ever forgive – or even get his head round the life Theo‘s been living? Only the upcoming Coronation Street spoilers can reveal.
