Todd Grimshaw plans a fun, drama-free night at the Rovers next week but as it is with Coronation Street, peace never lasts for long. What starts as a harmless attempt to let loose quickly turns into a disaster, and soon Todd finds himself in hot water with Theo, and possibly Millie too.
A Night Out Goes Off Track
When Todd convinces Theo Silverton to join him at the Rovers’ drag night, he’s hoping they can finally enjoy themselves without family drama getting in the way. But Theo has other things on his mind like, constant texts from his daughter Millie. As the messages keep rolling in, it’s clear he’s not really present, and Todd’s frustration starts to bubble.
Then comes a moment Todd just can’t resist. When Theo steps away, Todd quietly switches his phone to airplane mode, thinking it’ll give them both a break and let them enjoy the night.
From Todd’s point of view, it’s no big deal just a quick fix to a phone problem. He wants some quality time with his partner and doesn’t think twice.
A show insider revealed that Todd is simply desperate to have fun. Drag night is a rare chance for him and Theo to relax, and in his mind, switching off the phone isn’t a huge deal. What Todd doesn’t know is that Danielle, Theo’s ex is urgently trying to reach him because Millie’s been taken to hospital.
Theo Hits Breaking Point in Coronation Street
As the evening continues, things seem to be improving, at least on the surface. Theo and Billy Mayhew share a nice moment and even decide to exchange numbers, hinting at a growing friendship. But then reality crashes in. Theo finally checks his phone and realises he hasn’t just been ignored, his daughter needed him, and he missed it.
When he pieces it together and realises Todd silenced the calls, he completely loses his temper. Furious, Theo confronts Todd, unleashes his anger, and storms out of the Rovers without looking back. The damage is done and it’s not just about the missed call. This betrayal could bring in a major hit in their relationship.
Later in the week, things take another turn when Millie opens up to both her dad and Todd. She tells them she’s feeling miserable living with her mum. Hearing this, Theo suggests she stay at No. 11 a little longer, giving her some space and a chance to feel more settled.
Todd doesn’t respond straight away, but the conversation clearly strikes. Then, in a quiet moment, Millie takes Todd aside and makes a surprising confession. She says she’ll do whatever it takes to get her dad to move back home.
