Looks like peace at No.1 is officially over in Coronation Street! Tracy McDonald and Cassie Plummer are about to go head-to-head next week, and things could get messy. Both women have fiery tempers, and when one sneaky trick turns into another, this feud might just explode. But who’s really going to come out on top when it all kicks off?
Things Heat Up at No.1
It’s no secret that Tracy’s never been Cassie’s biggest fan. With Cassie spending more and more time at No.1 these days, Tracy’s patience is hanging by a thread and it finally snaps next week. According to Corrie insiders, the drama starts when Cassie sends over a nice bottle of wine for Ken Barlow. Now, a normal person might just say “thank you,” but not Tracy. She storms straight to the cab office, right in the middle of Cassie’s very first shift, and accuses her of trying to butter up her dad.

But Tracy being Tracy, she doesn’t stop there; she quietly unplugs the switchboard before leaving, leaving Cassie’s big first day in chaos. You can almost feel the tension brewing already, can’t you? And if you know these two, you’ll know Cassie’s not one to just let it slide.
Cassie Gets Her Own Back
After Tracy’s stunt, Cassie decides to play it cool, at least for a while. When Tracy later suggests they call a truce, Cassie goes along with it, acting like she’s ready to let bygones be bygones. But it doesn’t take her long to realise Tracy’s sudden change of heart isn’t genuine. Turns out, Tracy only wants Cassie’s help convincing Steve to back off from claiming Preston’s Petals in their divorce. Classic Tracy move, right?

Once Cassie clocks what’s really going on, she decides to turn the tables. Later, when she finds Tracy fast asleep after sneaking one of Ken’s bottles of wine, Cassie spots her chance. She’s got payback on her mind and something tells us her revenge won’t be pretty. Word is, whatever Cassie does next could kick off a proper street war between the two. And honestly, we wouldn’t expect anything less from them!
Tracy’s return to Weatherfield earlier this year already brought plenty of drama, especially after her split from footballer-turned-coach Tommy Orpington. And speaking of Tommy, actor Matt Milburn recently hinted that he might not be gone for good. He said it’s been a dream job for him, especially since Corrie’s filmed in Manchester, where his family’s from. But for now, all eyes are on Tracy and Cassie.
