Tracy Barlow thought she was in control after blackmailing Carl and Abi over their affair in Coronation Street, but her world turned upside down when a masked thug stormed into the flower shop and wrecked the place. She managed to fight back, but the intruder slipped away; and now the big question is, who was really behind the attack?
Tracy Pushes Abi and Carl Too Far
Tracy hasn’t wasted any time using what she knows. She told Abi that if she didn’t get her money by the end of the day, she’d spill everything to Kevin. Carl wasn’t panicked though. He told Abi they should throw Tracy £500 at most, saying she was just pushing her luck and trying to squeeze them dry. Abi thought about coming clean to Kevin to end the mess, but Carl didn’t want that. He told her they should call Tracy’s bluff instead of giving in.
That confidence didn’t last long though, because soon after, Tracy walked into the shop to find a masked man smashing the place up. She tried to stop him, even smashing a vase over his head, but he ran off before she could see who he was. Furious, Tracy marched straight to Carl, convinced he was behind it. Debbie shut her down quickly, pointing out Carl and Abi had been with her in Glossop all afternoon.
The Accomplice Revealed
The truth then came out. Carl later thanked Dylan for stepping in and scaring Tracy. He told him he’d done a brilliant job and even said Dylan had done better than Brody ever could. That’s when it clicked; Dylan had been the one in the mask, trashing the shop for Carl. But Dylan wasn’t happy about it. He told Carl he wanted out and didn’t want to be dragged into any more of his dodgy plans.
Still, the damage was done, and Tracy had no idea that Dylan was the one who had just left her shop in pieces. Meanwhile, Kevin mentioned that Tracy had asked to meet him at the pub. Abi panicked, certain Tracy was finally going to spill the truth, and she rushed to warn Carl.
Carl Outsmarts Tracy Again
Carl knew exactly what to do. As Tracy walked into the pub, he FaceTimed her and calmly showed he was sat at No.1 with Ken, sharing a drink. Tracy had no choice but to back out and rush home, only to find Carl and Ken getting on just fine.
Once again, Carl had managed to shut her down before she could tell Kevin anything. But the real twist here is Dylan’s involvement. He says he doesn’t want to do Carl’s dirty work anymore. But with Carl pulling the strings, is it really that simple to walk away? Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for all the latest Coronation Street drama.
