Steve’s Rocky Stay at No.9
In recent weeks, Steve McDonald has been trying to put his life back together after moving out of the Barlow household amid bitter divorce proceedings with Tracy. Keen to escape the constant tension, he jumped at the chance to move in with Cassie, who offered him a place to stay. However, his time at Tyrone’s house quickly soured. Steve found himself in hot water when young Dorin wandered off while he was meant to be babysitting.
Tyrone, furious over the negligence, wasted no time in ordering Steve out. Cassie tried to persuade her son to let bygones be bygones, but Tyrone refused to budge. Steve, still eager to mend fences, decided a peace offering was in order. He picked up some lagers for Tyrone and slipped them into the fridge while Ty was out, thinking the gesture might start to smooth things over. With the coast clear, he figured there’d be no harm in hanging around the house for a while with Cassie.
Coronation Street: When Things Got Out of Hand
Cassie, in a playful mood, urged Steve to show off the pole dancing skills he’d picked up at Dev Alahan’s memorable stag night. Steve didn’t need much encouragement, and Cassie seemed equally entertained once he started. Their light-hearted fun quickly escalated, and before long, they were caught up in the moment. It was at this very point that Tyrone returned home, walking straight into a scene he could never have anticipated.
According to a Corrie insider, Tyrone found Cassie and Steve in a near-naked embrace in his living room. The source explained that Tyrone was horrified by what he saw, especially given their recent clash. Any chance of patching things up seemed more remote than ever. The insider also revealed that Steve had already been on thin ice, and this display certainly wouldn’t help his cause. Whatever hopes he had of winning Tyrone over with a few beers were dashed in an instant.
Cassie realised that the road to getting Steve back under Tyrone’s roof had just become much steeper. The tension between the two men, already simmering, now looked set to deepen. The question now remains whether Tyrone can ever get past what he witnessed. As for Steve, it seems he has more than a few fences to mend.
