Viewers Furious With Carl After Debbie’s Heartbreaking Sacrifice
The show’s watchers spent weeks thinking Carl was the son of Bill and Elaine. That was the story everyone believed for years. He grew up in Germany when his parents lived there. And everything fell apart when Bill moved back to Weatherfield after Elaine cheated. However, last month, the real truth was out.
Debbie turned out to be his mother. And she brought this out after she admitted guilt for dangerous driving. And also causing Billy Mayhew’s death in that huge Corriedale pile-up. Cars from Weatherfield and the Dales had crashed. Later, Carl dragged her to the driver’s seat when she was unconscious.
Earlier this week, she tried to settle things before going to prison. She also tried to fix things by holding an intervention for Kevin. However, Carl ruined it when she shouted because she picked Ryan to run the Chariot Square Hotel. Later, Debbie told Carl that she was scared to go inside the prison. And for one second, he looked guilty. Then Ronnie told him she called him Ray by mistake. After this, Ray said he wanted to fix everything.
However, before Carl could reach the police station, Debbie stopped him. When Carl confessed he was behind the wheel, Debbie said she already knew. And that’s when she also revealed that she was his mother. Howeve Carl didn’t forgive her. Instead, he walked around pointing at her as the cause of all problems and even called her selfish. At one point, he said to her that she should have a good time in prison because he would not come to visit her.
Coronation Street Fans Now Expect Carl To Become The Flash Forward Victim
Fans saw Debbie break down. And they believe the huge murder story coming this month could take Carl away for good. One fan wants Carl to be the next big death in the flash forward. Someone else wants him to become the murder victim. Another was sure that he would die soon. They also listed possible suspects such as Abi, Kevin, Tyrone, Debbie, Ryan, Jodie, Ronnie and Theo as possible suspects.
