KEV’S GOT A NEW PUB! Webster Turns His House Into The Rovers 2.0 in Coronation Street

By Roy

Kevin Webster reaches a point next week in Coronation Street where he decides he can’t keep walking into The Rovers and pretending everything is fine. Now, with all the emotions piling up and awkward moments waiting for him at every corner, he ends up taking a very unexpected turn.

Things Haven’t Been Easy for Kevin

Kevin is still trying to get his life back on track after Abi walked out on their marriage and straight into a romance with his brother Carl. Every time he sees them together, it hits him harder than he lets on, and it’s been wearing him down for weeks. On top of that, things at The Rovers haven’t helped one bit. Eva kicked him out not long ago after he got into another row with Carl, which was embarrassing enough.

CS/ Kevin is avoiding Abi

And now, Abi and Tracy are set to have a full-on scrap, with Abi apparently landing a punch. The insider said Kevin has simply had enough of everything going on at the pub. The same source mentioned that Kevin would rather sit at home with a bag of crisps. He’s tired, fed up, and not dealing well with watching their relationship play out in front of him.

Kevin’s Big Idea in Coronation Street

That’s when Kevin decides to do something none of us saw coming. He comes up with a plan to turn his own house into a pub so he doesn’t have to set foot inside The Rovers at all. Instead of avoiding the pub, he decides he’ll make his own version of it. When Steve McDonald and Dev Alahan pop round, Kevin proudly shows off the things he’s ordered. He’s ordered a dartboard and even a whole barrel of beer.

He tells them he’s going to recreate a proper pub vibe at home where he won’t have to deal with Abi and Carl. Steve isn’t buying into the idea and looks pretty unsure about the whole thing. Dev, on the other hand, seems surprisingly supportive. According to the insider, Dev backs Kevin’s spur-of-the-moment plan, even if Steve looks like he’s questioning all of Kevin’s life choices. The insider also said that Kevin probably just needs his mates right now.

Now the big question is whether this home-pub project will actually make Kevin feel better? Or it’ll just end up being another one of his ideas that fizzles out. Remember, that poker night that didn’t go anywhere. He’s still hurt, still jealous, and still trying to figure out what life looks like without Abi. Bringing his friends into his house might give him a bit of comfort. But copying The Rovers inside his own home could also remind him of everything he’s trying to run away from.
