What’s Next For Mason & Dylan?
Now that Mason Radcliffe is back, we all have been wondering what’s next for him and Dylan. Recently, Mason actor Lucan Toolan revealed it all. He recalled that his character, Mason, was recently sent to a Young Offenders centre after Dylan testified about his knife threats to Liam Connor.
But guess what? Mason is getting out this week. According to the star, Mason’s time in the centre was super tough, leaving him with all sorts of ‘mixed feelings’ He mentioned that, although Mason is relieved, he will struggle with the adverse reactions from the residents.
Despite Mason’s desire to start fresh and with good intentions, Luca acknowledged that the residents are unlikely to forget his past actions easily. He expressed, “I have a lot of hope for Mason to turn his life around, but we will just need to wait and see.” The soap star shared that there is a lot of ‘pent-up anger’ between the youngsters.
‘Their Reunion Will Be Explosive’
He said that their initial reunion scene would be pretty explosive and that filming was enjoyable. Hinted at the storyline’s future, the ITV actor suggested that Mason’s decision to make amends would depend on Dylan’s reaction. He added that Mason would approach the situation with an ‘open mind.’
As per Luca, his alter ego, deep down, might want to keep a door open for Dylan, and if Dylan tries to make amends, Mason could be open to it. He mentioned that Mason is trying to do the right thing, especially after having a difficult time in jail and a tough life overall.
He said, “Mason is trying to keep his head above water and do anything he can to survive if that means playing the nice guy. The soap villain expressed hope that his character would make these positive changes.
