If you’ve been watching Coronation Street lately, you’ll know Lauren Bolton has finally started to find her feet again. After everything she’s been through, things on the cobbles feel a little calmer for her right now. But just as Lauren’s life seems to be settling down, Cait Fitton has a new announcement to make if this could be the start of another big change.
Lauren Bolton’s Journey Has Never Been Easy
Lauren Bolton first arrived on the Street back in 2022 with her dad, Reece Bolton, and trouble followed almost immediately. Reece was involved with Griff Reynolds’ far-right gang, and viewers soon found out that Lauren was being used to get close to David Platt’s stepson, Max Turner. As the story played out, Reece, Griff and the rest of the group groomed Max and slowly turned him against his own community. When the truth finally came out, the damage was already done.
Lauren ended up leaving Weatherfield as the full horror of the gang’s actions was exposed. Things didn’t get any easier when she returned. Lauren later went missing and was even presumed dead, which was one of the most heartbreaking twists of her story. When she was eventually found alive and pregnant, viewers then learned that Joel Deering had been grooming her, adding another dark chapter to her already complicated life.
A New Chapter for Lauren Behind Coronation Street
More recently, Lauren’s life has looked a bit more stable. She’s now working behind the bar at the Rovers Return after Carla Connor gave her a chance with a job. Carla had taken back the pub using money Stephen Reid had stolen from the factory, before that same money was taken by Jenny Connor and Daisy Midgeley following Stephen’s death. While Lauren is rebuilding her life on screen, Cait Fitton has been keeping fans updated off screen too.
On December 11 episode, she posted a message teasing an “announcement.” It instantly got people talking and guessing about what she might be about to reveal. Not long after, Cait came back with the update. She shared that she had launched her own YouTube channel and posted a short video to introduce it. In the clip, she welcomed viewers and revealed the channel’s name as Haus of Cait.
Cait later shared a photo of her laptop open on her new YouTube channel. She was sitting on her dressing-room table and reflected in the mirror behind her. Alongside the picture, she joked that she had started a YouTube channel. She also encouraged fans to head to subscribe, and teased that exciting things were coming.
