Viewers Outraged Over Surprising Twin Trend
Recently, fans have noticed something unusual in Weatherfield. They have highlighted the surprising number of twins on the show. The long-running soap’s fans are calling out this strange trend through social media. Let us tell you that we have Asha and Aadi Alahan on the show, plus Gemma Winter and Paul Foreman.
Gemma, played by Dolly-Rose Campbell, is also a supermom to quads Aled, Bryn, Carys, and Llio. Moreover, off-screen, it’s double the fun with real-life twins William and Isabella Flanagan, who play cousins Joseph Brown and Hope Stape. Loyal fans have named this an ‘abnormal trend.’
One viewer pointed out that Steve McDonald and his brother Andy are twins. Additionally, they mentioned Peter Barlow’s late twin sister, Susan, and that mechanic Abi Franklin is a mother to twins, even though she doesn’t see them. Another fan highlighted that Daniel was a twin, and Tracy miscarried twins.
Someone else added that Judy and Gary Mallet had boy and girl twins, and Judy tragically died in a car accident. Another fan wrote, “I don’t know any twins in real life, let alone triplets or quads.”
Well, we totally agree with the audience. Corrie really needs to put an end to this trend. For now, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more updates on Coronation Street!
