Days of Our Lives star Arianne Zucker previously opened up about why she got pushed out of her long-term role. Her “loyalty to Ken Corday and Corday Productions” was brushed off when she stood up for herself and other women. Now, Zucker recently tweeted a cryptic post on X /Twitter, saying that while someone can be replaced, their heart cannot. Want to know the full story? Let’s dive in!
All About Zucker’s Legal Battle Inspired Tweet
Days of Our Lives star began her tweet with gratitude toward friends, coworkers, and fans. She wrote, “When someone says you are irreplaceable…maybe, but the heart of an individual is not.” Let’s recap to understand the crux. Last year, Zucker filed a lawsuit against Corday Productions and ex-director/ producer Albert Alarr.
She alleged sexual harassment and met with the press the day after filing the lawsuit. Zucker revealed that she was being cornered for speaking up about the mistreatment she and other women faced on set. Moreover, Arianne, who played Nicole Walker on DOOL, claimed her salary was cut. Also, her contract was not renewed because she spoke out against Alarr.
He was later fired after being investigated for inappropriate comments, touching, groping, forceful kissing, and creating a toxic work environment. In March 2023, the conditions of women worsened as the soap dissolved the all-female PR department and didn’t renew female contracts. Additionally, women were shifted to recurring roles.
Meanwhile, Zucker tried to discuss her concerns with Corday and his staff before approaching Sony’s HR department. After filing her complaints, Zucker’s agents received two notices that her pay was being reduced. Then, DOOL ultimately wrote off her character. The soap actress did return when Alarr departed, but things had changed.
On the other hand, Corday Productions released a statement denying Zucker’s allegations. They stated that they cooperated fully with the investigation into Alarr’s behavior and terminated him. Alarr’s attorney, Robert M. Barta, suggested that Zucker was using offensive stereotypes to discredit a Black man in a position of power.
Zucker ended the press conference in tears, saying, “For all my coworkers who were scared of being fired, you were right.” She concluded, “The struggle to create a safe, balanced, and fair environment continues.” Meanwhile, Zucker recently shared that her last airdate will be July 29th. She expressed gratitude for the support she received and hinted at future developments.

As a long time fan of Days for over 50 years, I am incredibly disappointed in the loss of Nicole/Ari as well as the production team which I find extremely disgusted with in their treatment of their Female cast members. I believe they have made a HUGE MISTAKE and will pay for this eventually! The majority of fans are Female and I personally feel as a woman that we all must stand with Ari against any forms of abuse in the workplace period! July 29, 2024 will be etched in my brain forever in the loss of this excellent cast member who has put her heart and soul into her work on Days of Our Lives for so many years. Bring Nicole back!!!
I am appalled that these kind of things are still happening today. DOOL lost an incredible actress. May loose viewers as well. Speaking of role changes. How ridiculous is having Gwen be Theresa with a horrible blonde wig.
On another note, the blanket baby was so lame. Can’t the show afford a doll?
