Conner Floyd, best known for playing Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless, is officially heading to Days of Our Lives. He’ll become the third actor to play Chad DiMera, following Casey Deidrick and Billy Flynn. Floyd starts filming this week, on Monday, June 23.
Fans won’t see him onscreen immediately, though. Since DOOL films months ahead, viewers can expect his debut as Chad around April 2026. That’s also the time Billy Flynn’s exit storyline wraps up, completing the torch-passing moment. This switch comes just as Flynn crosses over to Y&R, where he now plays a mysterious man named Aristotle Dumas—actually Cane Ashby in disguise. So, it’s a true soap-style switcheroo!
