Rafe’s Long-Awaited Return
Big changes are coming to Salem! After a long time, the Salem cop is set to awaken this week from coma. Rafe Hernandez, portrayed by Galen Gering, has been in a coma since July due to Connie’s scheme. While Jada and Gabi have been unable to rouse him, Paulina will finally bring him back to consciousness. She will forcefully command him to open his eyes.
Once awake, Rafe will have much to catch up on, especially regarding Everett’s confession and death. This could reignite doubts about the case and stir new trouble in Salem. He may soon resume his role as Salem’s police commissioner once fully recovered. Speaking of Gering, he is the only actor to have played Rafe since its introduction in 2008.

When Rafe was stabbed by Connie, it was thought that Gering might be leaving the show. However, the soap surprised fans by keeping him in a coma. Madelyn Kientz Reappears
Meanwhile, Madelyn Kientz will make a reappearance as Sophia Choi. She will especially reappear to make her move on Tate after his recent argument with Holly. She will interact with him on Friday, potentially causing more trouble with Holly. Recently, Holly was upset to see Tate hanging out with Sophia on Smith Island in his underwear.
Although he assured Holly of his innocence then, he might struggle to convince her this time. It looks like Sophia will continue to pursue Tate despite his reluctance.
