Bo And Hope Return
As per the latest updates, Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso are set to return to reprise their roles. The iconic pair, known for portraying Bo Brady and Hope Williams Brady since 1983, are back on set filming a new story arc that will air next year. They last appeared together in April 2023, when Bo fell into a coma after being shot by his son, Shawn.
The duo is now ready to embark on a new chapter of their love story, though the new episodes won’t air until May 2025. Fans can look forward to a special storyline that promises to be worth their wait. While Hope will appear for Doug’s funeral later this year, Bo will not be with her. This news has already left many viewers frustrated over his prolonged coma.

However, his return is just around the corner, which means his recovery journey is about to begin. Meanwhile, Clyde Weston is back on the soap for a whole new adventure. Played by James Read, Clyde is returning after a stint in solitary confinement. This week, he will interact with several DOOL characters.
Initially, Clyde will meet with Jonah Robinson’s Dr. Mark Greene to get updates on his scheme involving a fake Abigail. It appears he will pressure Greene to expedite the fake marriage between Abigail and Chad to further disrupt Chad’s life. Additionally, Stephen Nichols’ Steve Johnson will visit Clyde with questions about how he managed to revive Abigail.
Melinda’s Captivity
Next, Michael J. Craven will appear as a Salem police officer during the same week. He will be involved in a storyline with Jackée Harry’s Paulina Price. Additionally, Tina Huang, who plays former attorney Melinda Trask, will feature prominently starting this week. Melinda, currently held captive by Connie, might be rescued or attempt an escape from her villainous captor.
Although Melinda previously called out to Jada for help during her visit to Connie’s apartment, her efforts were unsuccessful. There is now a chance that Salem’s police commissioner might return to search Connie’s place again and discover Melinda tied up and in distress.
