Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Greg Vaughn Returns To Salem, Will He Be Able To Save Brady?

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings brings a fan-favorite to the fold! Remember when Arianne Zucker’s Nicole Walker left Salem at the end of July? She didn’t go alone. Greg Vaughan’s Eric Brady packed his bags and joined her and their son, Jude. The family took off for Paris, dreaming of turning a new leaf free from EJ’s interference. But let’s be honest, Eric’s exit shocked us all, but thankfully, his comeback was never out of the question. Now he’s back, so what’s in store for the character this time?

Eric Brady Is Back! 

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings confirm that Vaughan will start the week of September 2, 2024. The character is set to stay in Salem for two months, and interesting things await! Moreover, Eric’s comeback is set against a backdrop of family drama. On September 5, he’s back in Salem to lend support to his brother Brady (Eric Martsolf). 

Brady’s life is in a bit of a tailspin again, though this time, he’s not entirely to blame. But before diving into the chaos of Brady’s mess, Eric will stop by to see his mother, Marlena (Deidre Hall). It’s a chance for Eric to catch her up on what’s been happening in his life. It includes how things are going with Nicole and Jude in their new Parisian home.

Meanwhile, Brady’s struggles are far from over. He’s currently grappling with a setback, having fallen off the wagon and being wrongfully accused of hitting Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). In reality, it was Xander’s mother, Fiona (Serena Scott Thomas), who was driving drunk and hit Sarah. Then, she fled the scene wihtout an ounce of remorse.

Things are heating up even more when Eric bumps into EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) on Friday, September 6. As fans know, there’s a lot of bad blood between Eric and EJ.  Remember EJ kept the secret about Jude’s paternity from Eric and Nicole? Not long after Eric and Nicole’s departure to Paris, Vaughan revealed that leaving wasn’t entirely his choice.
