Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: John Is OUT!

When Steve took a bullet at Konstantin and Maggie’s disastrous wedding, we feared that we might lose him. However, Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings confirm that Steve has survived the gunshot wound and will make a full recovery. Unfortunately, our fears about losing a longtime favorite character are far from over.

Days spoilers reveal that John has informed Marlena that he is basically a loose canon and he needs to LEAVE Salem! Yikes! Does that mean actor Drake Hogestyn is leaving the Peacock soap? Well, there is no confirmation about that. But we do know that John has made up his mind to leave Salem – ALONE!

He wants to fly off to Greece to find Catherina’s grave and make amends. Now, had he decided to go with someone, we could have hoped for some nice location shoot scenes. But going alone is ringing the danger bell for us! We did recently see Gwen go to Europe alone to get her hands on Dimitri’s wealth. We haven’t really seen her ever since.

Thus, we feel our fears are valid that once John leaves the grounds of Salem, we may not see him again. At least not for a while. Although we are holding on to the hope that his love for Marlena and his family will eventually pull him back home. Over the years, both, Marlena and John, have fallen off the canvas several times. But they always find the road back home.
