Days of Our Lives will soon see the closure of the on-soap series Body & Soul. It seems Days fans are bored with this fake soap storyline but even the characters believe it’s time for it to wrap up. Deidre Hall recently confirmed this news in an interview. Julie Williams was also a part, and she also shared her thoughts on the departure. Head Writer Ron Carlivati’s Departure From DOOL!
Actress Deidre Hall, who portrays Hattie Adams on Days, is a star actress on the fake show Body and Soul. Now as its storyline comes to an ending Deidre in a recent interview with Michael Fairman has confirmed the news. She has also indicated that DOOL will soon experience major changes, with a new team at the writers’ desk for the series.
In the interview, Deidre revealed that it’s not just the end of the fake show but also a time when DOOL will shift towards more real and character-driven stories. She said, “Yeah, we’re done with that and we’re back to people’s stories”. She revealed that the end of Body & Soul has led to the departure of head writer Ron Carlivati from the team. Now DOOL has Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford as head writers on the desk who have taken over the duties.
Susan And Deidre Were Not A Big Fan Of Body and Soul!
Upon being asked if they liked or hated the fake show, Deidre was hesitant to express anything openly. But Susan Hayes responded to the question playfully and added her thoughts saying, “They had laughs sometimes, and cringe sometimes.” Clearly, Susan had mixed opinions about the show but favored its closure meanwhile Deidre’s expressions suggested that she wasn’t particularly a fan of it.
Soon Body & Soul will be over so fans can look forward to some exciting new storylines on DOOL. Though Ron Carlivati’s direction will remain in effect for some time until April 2025, exciting new developments will be then on the horizon soon after.
