Lisa Rinna, the fabulous actress known as Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives, is most certainly a household name. Especially so, due to her jaw-dropping stint on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although, she is not a part of the reality drama any longer, the drama in her life has far from faded. She still has a taste for it, if we may say so! The actress recently spoke to the media about her iconic role on Days.
In a recent chat with Distractify, Lisa Rinna teased the possibility of reprising her iconic role as Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives. It was a role that literally put her on the map, and made her one of the most famous and sought after soap actresses at the time. Thus, it comes as no surprise that she still reflects on that time of her life, ever so often.
“I’m always open to revisiting these characters that I love. You know, I love drama,” she quipped. Furthermore, Lisa admitted that if the storyline was right, and her return arc made sense, she would love to go back to DOOL as Billie Reed. She teased that she would jump at the opportunity if the soap’s producers were to give her a call with an exciting story to be part of! She never says no to such things!
Twin Trouble!
Lisa Rinna essayed the role for three seasons before she left the daytime soap to play Taylor McBride on the primetime series Melrose Place. However, we did recently see her reprise the role shortly in Days’ spinoff – Beyond Salem. Apart from the soapverse, and reality tv, Lisa has also recently appeared in Walmart’s “Deals of Desire” 2024 holiday ad campaign.
In the campaign, she takes on a new soapy role. She loves playing an evil twin, which has always been her dream role. But hey, soaps love the evil twin trope! Maybe that’s exactly what the DOOL producers need to offer Lisa to bring her back to the fold as Billie Reed and her twin!
