Bill Hayes’ passing was really very heartbreaking for his family, friends, and the Daytime community, including the fans, recall Days of Our Lives Spoilers. With him passing over, we know it is only a matter of time before his DOOL character, Doug Williams, also breathes his last.
The spoilers for the week of July 8-12, 2024, reveal that before we say a final goodbye to Doug, we still have a few scenes left where we can see him with Julie. Turns out that Bill filmed some scenes in December 2023, that still haven’t aired and will hit the screen in the July 11, 2024, episode.

It will be all the more emotional because the upcoming scenes are actually with his real-life wife – Susan Hayes. Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that in the scenes, Julie asks Doug if she has ever told him how much she loves him. He replies that she hasn’t. So, watch out for a heartwarming and emotional declaration of love between them.
In a chat with The New York Times, Susan Hayes had shared that “The last scene I got to play with him is about how much we love each other.” Moreover, it was something that they often said to each other in real life. So, it was great that they got to weave that into the on-screen story too!
So don’t miss out the July 11, 2024 episode. Interestingly, it is also Susan’s birthday. So it will certainly be even more emotional. On another note, we know that Days has filmed a special memorial episode for Bill and his character Doug, which is slated to air sometime in December.
