Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jada’s Mom Arrives In Salem, Ela Cantu Has IDEAS

Jada and Rafe spent a long time suppressing their feelings for each other, recall Days of Our Lives Spoilers. All thanks to the old Salem PD rule of not dating co-workers. However, that’s a thing of the past now. Jada and Rafe have not only moved past that obstacle and confessed their true feelings for each other, they are also getting stronger by the day.

Many Days of Our Lives Spoilers hint that not too far in the future the two police personnel may even start discussing marriage. After all, Jada has finally agreed to move in with Rafe. That’s often the first step towards marriage, isn’t it? Well, if this marriage ever comes to be (which we are certain it will), Jada would need some family in town.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers do confirm that Jada would eventually want Rafe to meet her mother sometime in the future, and for that the soap will have to cast a new actress to play the role. Since we haven’t really seen her before. Although it seems the makers won’t have to go through a rigorous screening process since Elia Cantu already has someone in mind!

Actress Elia Cantu who plays Jada recently sat down for a chat with soaps.com. Days of Our Lives Spoilers reveal that during the interview the soap star pointed that actress Vivica A. Fox would be the perfect fit to portray Jada’s mom! Elia has previously met Vivica, and even told her that hopefully one day they would get to work together!

Interestingly, Vivica A. Fox is no stranger to daytime or even DOOL for that matter. Days of Our Lives Spoilers recall that she played Carmen Silva on the soap back in 1988. With such a long history with the soap, we have to agree with Elia that Vivica would indeed be the perfect fit for the part!
