Two of DOOL stars Madelyn Kientz and Susan Seaforth Hayes have received a promotion as their status has changed now. The actress Madelyn Kientz who portrays Sophia Choi joined the sudser recently in April 2024. Since then, she has been working on a recurring basis which now has changed as her status has been upgraded to contract basis. It begins from October 2, 2024. Meanwhile the actress Susan who plays the role of Julie Williams has been with DOOL for a long time now.
Susan joined the show in 1968 and worked with the series on a contractual basis till 1984. She again appeared in 1990 with the same work status and stayed till 1993. After 1993, Susan made only guest appearances on the series and from 1999 her status was fixed to a recurring role until now. From October 4 onwards her status has been upgraded to a contractual role.

Fans noticed the latest update last week, when the credits rolled at the end of one of the episodes. The credit crawl read the name of the artists which confirmed Madelyn and Susan’s Status. After it came to notice, a DOOL fan page Jason47’s Days website shared the news on his Facebook account.
