EastEnders star Alice Haig completes one year since her character Vicki arrived in Walford. She shared some photos on Instagram to celebrate her onscreen anniversary. Alice Haig Completes One Year
The actress posted a celebration of her first full year playing Vicki Fowler on the BBC soap. Alice shared photos from the set on her Instagram. Also, it includes a selfie outside the iconic Queen Victoria pub at night. The anniversary post also had group shots with other cast members during social events.
Alice posted, “Cannot believe it’s been a YEAR since Vicki arrived on the square. What a year she’s had! Such a dream. She loves causing carnage here…and so do I! Best job. Several co-stars and fans also congratulated her on her journey. Max Murray who played Joel wrote, “Can’t believe it’s been a year.” Laura Doddington who plays Nicola, wrote, “Love you!!!” Meanwhile, Emma Barton and Harriet Thorpe also wished her.
One fan wrote, “Massive congrats to you on this anniversary! Proud of you.” Another shared, “Great character. Great portrayal by you. Feels like Vicky/You has/have been in The Square forever.” Someone else mentioned, “Happy 1st anniversary to the one and only Vicki Fowler.” Meanwhile, “I was’nt sure about the recast at first but OMG you have done a stunning job and given Vicki new layers to the character. I think you’re a brilliant actress! Best decision EE made!
Vicki Fowler’s Journey In EastEnders
Vicki returned to Walford for her uncle Martin’s funeral. She brought her partner Ross Marshall and his son, Joel. However, her arrival had shocked Sharon and Alfie Moon. It’s because she split from Spence Moon after having an affair with Ross in Australia. Her biggest arc involved Joel’s radicalisation.
Joel had violently attacked Vicki in October last year. The cruel teenager also filmed the attack and left the victim to die. After the incident Vicki was severely injured and traumatised. Unable to deal with the failure to protect his son, Vicki kicked Ross out.
Amid this trauma, Vicki developed feelings for Zack Hudson. However despite this, Vicki reconciled with Ross. When Ross proposed to her, she accepted it. However, being honest she revealed that she slept with another man. However, didn’t reveal it was Zack. Lately, she also invited a homeless Zack to move in with her and Ross.
