EastEnders fans are speculating that Ravi Gulati’s mental health might be going downhill. And the informant could break at any moment. Recently, we have seen him at the pharmacy experiencing hallucinations. Will anyone be able to save him? Scroll down to get more details.
Ravi’s Mental Health Is Deteriorating In EastEnders
Ravi has been through a mental health crisis after some traumatic events involving his son Nugget. To seek revenge on him for his past actions, Harry and Nicola Mitchell spike Ravi’s drink with drugs. Later, under the influence, Ravi felt hallucinations of Nish Panesar. And in the state, he mistook Nugget for Nish and brutally assaulted him.
Nugget was also diagnosed with epilepsy. Since then, Ravi feels guilty. And it has led to a downward spiral of self-harm. Later, he went to give an interview at the car lot. However, it failed as he found Max Branning taking the interview instead of Lauren Branning. After which, Ravi went to the pharmacy to collect Nugget’s medication.

However, he snapped when the pharmacist couldn’t dispense the prescription. He soon locked the pharmacy door. Even Denise Fox and Bea Pollard were held hostage. But soon he suffered a major panic attack. That’s when the poor man confessed to his son that he had attacked him. Elsewhere, Ravi is also secretly working as a police informant for Jack. He is doing so to avoid prison for human trafficking and drug dealing charges.
What Fans Are Saying On Reddit
Many fans do acknowledge Ravi’s growing health problems. However, they are asking to justify any sympathy for the man who once ruined so many lives. “We’re expected to forgive him for past cruelty. But now he’s fragile, why should we feel sorry?” one user wrote.
Another wrote, “After how cruel he was to Kojo and Harry, we’re supposed to feel sorry for him now?” Another added, “Phil did much worse things in his time. But no one had this attitude when he was suicidal.”

Some shared thoughts on family dynamics. “I think Kheerat leaving messed up the whole dynamic they had planned…Ravi ends up both a bad guy and a supposed good guy.” Another added, “I do believe Ravi is fundamentally unhinged enough to do something like that if he had a psychotic break.”
Another speculated. “Doing a familicide storyline would be really interesting. Especially if there were subtle signs the other residents had noticed.” Elsewhere, someone said, “It could be an excellent plot if done carefully.” While someone said, “That’d be the darkest storyline the show’s done in years.” For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
