Aayan’s Role On EastEnders And What Inspires Him

Aayan’s character, Okie, was known for causing trouble. In​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ fact, when questioned about the performance, he mentioned that he enjoyed the part. During the interview, the question was put to him about his favourite ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌villains. And Aayan mentioned Alonzo from Training Day, Curtis from Top Boy, Heath Ledger’s Joker, Thanos and Omar from The Wire.

Elsewhere, he enjoys watching characters with depth. He takes inspiration from watching films and shows having strong storylines. Elsewhere, he also recommends La Haine as a classic movie. He even enjoyed watching the horror thriller Weapons. When asked if he could join any existing show, he chose Atlanta. He also praised I May Destroy You. And it changed his perception towards life. He wants to work on stories that explore layers and emotions.

He Speaks On His Saturday Routine And Daily Habits

Aayan starts his Saturday with the Fajr prayer. He enjoys sitting quietly for a while. However, he ends up checking his phone. He wants to be more focused, and so begins his day with gratitude. Elsewhere, usually he is an early bird, but sometimes enjoys sleeping whenever he can. For him, waking up naturally rather than with an alarm is peaceful. 

Moreover, his breakfast routine also keeps changing. For weeks, he gets fixated on one thing. However, then suddenly he stops. During​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the summer, he was having six boiled eggs with coconut water every morning. He was really into muscle building at the gym. But now, he is just having a croissant and a latte for ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌breakfast.
