EastEnders’ Alex Can Be Walford’s Next Villain
EastEnders actor Alex said he would not say no to playing a negative role if offered. He added that “at a point they thought I might be viable for a Moon Brother.” His entry as Vicki’s new partner truly shocked everyone. Further, he added that it never happened, and he was the only actor who had never done an episode.
“So, I’m really glad to be here!” According to Inside Soap, they were thrilled to hear the announcement of Alex joining the cast. They were in chat with him for years over his different characters like Smitty in The Bill, Fletch in Holby City, and more.
When asked the question about his character’s relationship with Vicki, he replied, “You must really want it to risk so much.” He added that ‘people related them with Den and Angie for arguing for a minute and then cuddling the other.’ He joked about keeping himself in the place of Angie, as she is the daughter of Den.
Moving ahead, he was asked about the similarities he feels Ross has with his previous characters. Alex replied, though there are many similarities, it is too early to judge. ‘Ross’s family-orientated nature is very similar to Feltch’s. He takes a stand for himself and is fearless, which is there in Smitty too.’
Alex Talks About His Character
Furthermore, he was asked about Ross’s real personality. Alex said that ‘he’s both a gent and a manipulative person. He is a proud man, and he loves his women.’ ‘Ross, however, has an ulterior motive, as he has been on a hunt for cash,’ the actor added. Ahead, he was asked if he would like to play a ‘bad boy’. Alex replied he would not say no! “Whatever EastEnders throws at me, I will absolutely give it 100 per cent; don’t worry about that!”
Well, it will be interesting to see him playing a negative role. Since his character entered the soap, fans have been speculating that he might be a vicious person. In the storyline, since the funeral, he has been trying very hard to stay back in Walford. He will even convince Vicki to do the same. But why is he so desperate to stay back? Time will tell.
