Kheerat Actor Jaz Deol Opens Up About His Exit
EastEnders actor Jaz Deol left the show two years ago. The 33-year-old first entered Walford in 2019 and left an impression on its residents and BBC Soap viewers. He played Panesar’s eldest sibling, and the actor dashed hopes of returning to Square after he announced a new career path. Deol took to Instagram and shared updates on how life has been ever since he left the longest-running soap opera.
Sharing a headshot of him on social media platform, he wrote, ‘People have been asking what life has been like post leaving not only a great show but a fantastic character that I not only had the privilege of playing but building and creating over my tenure with some amazing cast, crew and executive producers. It not only meant so much to the fans but people from my community.’
The popular actor talked about the reason why he left and penned, ‘Because it felt right and I was hungry for more.’ He continued and highlighted that none of our dreams are easy, and he loves to do what he is doing. Deol also inspired his fans by writing, ‘Dream big, have faith and NEVER give up.’ His character on EastEnders was a fan-favourite, and it affected his on-screen family as well.

After his stint on the soap, Suki’s life took a turn. She is now in a relationship with Eve after ending her abusive marriage to Nish. Regular viewers also know that she is trying to keep Keanu’s murder a secret from everyone, along with The Six. This reminds us of how Kheerat stepped for his mum in a bid to protect her from a crime Ravi committed. Long-time viewers know that Ravi killed Ranveer and tried to blame Suki for it.
But Kheerat took the blame and left Walford forever. We sure miss watching Kheerat on the show and would love to see him return. But, for now, we wish Jaz all the very best for all his future endeavours. For more such updates on EastEnders, keep following Soap Opera Daily!
