EastEnders actor Ross Kemp recently made a bombshell come back to the soap as Grant during the 40th anniversary celebrations. Long-time viewers were very happy to see the actor Grant Mitchell after almost 3 decades. He was first seen on BBC’s daytime soap in 1990. EastEnders Ross Respect On-Screen Brother Steve!
EastEnders legend Ross Kemp has finally shared about his relationship with his on-screen brother, Phil. The actor said he is now more in touch with Steve McFadden. In a recent interview with The Mirror, Kemp said he and McFadden have always been friends, but now they are more in touch.’ He further added that soap actors do not get recognition for their skills and appreciated Steve and how fine an actor he is.
Ross further said that ‘actors get recognised for doing big films’, “but Steve is absolutely fantastic,” he said. The legacy actor continued by saying that “I have great respect for him”. Kemp said that he has been doing it for 35 years. He also added that working with him is really nice, and he looks forward to working with him again. He further added that the two have their family and have been quite in touch with each other for ten years.
Ross Would Love A Social Catch-Up Soon.
Ross said that he would love a social catch-up anytime soon. Both the actors ‘love seafood, so the two will go out for a nice dinner,’ he said. The fan favorite actor also added when it comes to acting, both the actors ‘picked up from where they left’. He further joked that his comeback has “paid for Christmas”.
Grant Mitchell returned back to the soap for the 40th anniversary celebrations. During his time on the soap, the Mitchell brothers came closer. The two reached common ground, which gave the storyline a good emotional touch.
He last appeared on the soap back in 2016. Before his return, he shared that he was delighted to be back, and it was an absolute honour. Well, the fans were delighted to see him back on BBC’s soap after so long. His exit was equally heartbreaking.
