EastEnders Star Lacey Admitted She Feels Guilty
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner earlier this week revealed that she is leaving the soap later this year. She has been a part of the soap for the last 21 years and now says that she is feeling guilty to leave. She said, “Break is a funny word; I don’t think I’ve ever had one!”
The actress said to OK! Magazine that she had an unsure thought about leaving the soap since she has become a mother. She further added “the older they get the more you realise how quickly the little time pass.” Lacey further added, “You feel guilty for leaving them, but also feel guilty for not earning.” She described it as ‘never ending’.
Actress further added that ‘as of right now she wants to soak in cuddles and focus on her family.’ “But I do miss the chaos of the Square and my work family,” Lacey said. She became a mother for the third time this year. She is a mother of three children now, two daughters and a son.
While her newborn daughter is a few months old, her eldest daughter is five and the younger son is four, respectively. She has been happily married to Matt, who is her childhood sweetheart. The couple got married back in 2017 in Ibiza. She stepped in Walford when she was 16, and now she has decided that it is time to move forward both professionally and personally. Her kids need her, and she wants to explore more opportunities.
Stacey’s Mental Health Continues To Deteriorate
Recently her character has been struggling to move on from Martin Fowler’s sudden death. He revealed to her that he loved her moments before he died. Since then her life has been falling apart.
