Anthony’s Behaviour Raises Doubt In EastEnders
There is a lot of chattering happening around Anthony Trueman. Since the moment he returned to the Square, everybody has grown suspicious of him. Elsewhere, Zoe Slater is already in turmoil after some weird incidents happening around her. And so she believes that Anthony might be the one doing it all.
However, when the VHS tape is played, Zoe gets irked. She lashes out at everyone and removes them from the pub. Anthony, aware of what had happened, arrived last as he was in the toilet. When Zoe sees him alone, she accuses him of tormenting her. After Zoe’s accusations, Anthony reaches his breaking point.
He says he’s innocent; however, Zoe doesn’t believe him. The timing makes him look guilty. Now, Anthony becomes desperate to calm things down. And so he reaches out to Kat and tells her that Zoe might have a mental health problem. After this, Kat becomes more protective and worried for her daughter.
Elsewhere, Patrick and Kim start noticing Anthony’s unusual behaviour. Patrick asks him, but he avoids it and says he’s taken a job. The job is at the local surgery. Anthony thought that after hearing this news, nobody would have any doubts ahead.
A Strange Call Changes Everything
When everything seemed under control, Anthony’s secretive side returned. One evening, he slipped away from the Square and made a quiet phone call to somebody. He was talking very carefully and in a tense voice, and didn’t want anybody to hear him. However, fans understood that whoever was on the other side knew something serious. It felt like he was under pressure.
However, Patrick sees Anthony during the call and gets more suspicious. Elsewhere, Kim feels that he is caught in something dangerous or personal, and it might be something he cannot share. Also, Zoe is now convinced that the strange things happening around her are Anthony’s wrongdoings.
Moreover, Kat is worried and doesn’t know how to protect her daughter. She doesn’t want to accuse Anthony without proof. But even she finds his behaviour strange lately.
