EastEnders executive producer Chris Clenshaw has finally opened Pandora’s box and revealed the exclusive details of the dramatic festive season. Regular viewers know Cindy Beale’s sneaky affair secret, and the recording of her and David’s conversation will soon be exposed. We know that the show regularly airs episodes at 6 a.m. on their streaming service, but for this week’s Christmas episodes, we will all have to wait until 7:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Now that the show will have a special Christmas screen, we cannot wait to see the drama the next couple of weeks bring. While speaking to Digital Spy, Clenshaw highlighted that it’s not just the Beales and Knights chaos but also a love triangle between Stacey, Martin, and Ruby. He said, “Since Ruby returned, Stacey’s definitely got the feels. But it’s just whether she plucks up the courage to tell him or it’s too late.”
The talented soap showrunner also talked about the depression & loneliness storyline that involved Phil Mitchell. Even though Sharon and Jay have tried to reach, the Walford hardman is struggling to find comfort in anyone. Chris mentioned, “As we move through the festive period, Steve McFadden is blowing my socks off.” After the yuletide season, we will see Suki and Eve’s wedding taking center stage on New Year’s Day.
