EastEnders Iconic Characters Are Coming BACK!
EastEnders will welcome back a number of former faces as part of Phil Mitchell’s suicide storyline. Fans are going to witness the return of Jaime Winstone, who will reprise her role as legendary Peggy. We know that Phil is in the midst of a painful storyline for the last few months. And he will soon try to take his own life. But, some people from his past are going to reappear to help him through all of this.
As Phil’s mental issues increase, he will hallucinate a 1985 scenario. It will feature a younger version of him and other famous BBC soap characters. These conversations will take place both in Square and at his home at Number 55 Victoria Road. During this Mitchell flashback episode, Teddy Jay will return as Grant, George Russo will play Eric, and Daniel Delaney will play Phil.
Viewers will also get to see Sam Miles debut as a younger version of Nigel Bates, who recently came back to the Square in the present day. Jamie Winstone opened up about her legendary comeback. And said, “It was such an honor to be welcomed back to play Peggy Mitchell; she is a dream role for me. So to be able to contribute to this iconic family on this major storyline has been such a joyous and emotional journey.”
