Will Mick Come Back To Save Linda?
A little birdie tells us that EastEnders is planning to have the most dramatic festive season and might be bringing back three legendary characters. We know the BBC programme has got us all nostalgic, with so many old characters making their shocking comeback recently. With the show approaching its 40th milestone, there are more shocks awaiting us. One of the most intriguing storylines is the fate of Linda Carter.
Regular fans of the show know that there has been speculation about Linda dying after struggling with alcohol. We know Linda is full of guilt ever since she killed Keanu to save her friend, Sharon. On the other hand, a few funeral pictures of the set were leaked, which saw the Carter family gathering up to bid farewell to one of their loved ones. We were able to see Nancy, Lee, Johnny, and Elaine, but there were no signs of our beloved Linda.
So, it makes us think that some Walford favorites might return to be a part of this storyline somehow. One of the first potential returns is of Mick Carter, Linda’s lover. We know that Mick left the show in 2022 while trying to save Linda at sea. So, speculation has it that Danny might reprise his role and make a ghostly appearance at his struggling wife’s bedside. Earlier this year, Dyer spoke to Heatworld and said, “If there’s no closure there, then maybe I would come back for a dream sequence.”

Next character that could be making their way to the Square is Pam St Clement – who played the iconic Pat Butcher. She was absolutely loved by the audience; the fan-favorite character made a comeback in people’s minds after she was killed off in 2012. There is also talk about her making a return in some hallucinating way. And the last person that is being remembered time and again is Grant Mitchell.
Could Ross Kemp be returning to Walford after eight long years? We know that that actor was recently spotted leaving filming for the soap’s 40th anniversary special. It looks like he might come back to help his brother, Phil, who’s allegedly struggling with isolation and depression.
