The two have been doubtful about their feelings for a while now. Callum feels he is betraying Ben and has been in the backseat for some time. However, now Johnny and Callum are not hiding their feelings towards each other anymore. They’ve known each other for years, built on loyalty and friendship. Johnny loves Callum but holds back, afraid of heartbreak. Callum wants to stay loyal to Ben. However, his affection for Johnny is increasing. He stood by Ben when Ben was in prison abroad. So, taking a step towards somebody else is tearing him apart.
However, he feels happy around Johnny. Their bond is clear, and fans enjoy watching them together. The Mitchell family is very protective. Johnny knows that if they get involved, his life could be ruined. He knows he could face harsh scrutiny from them. But Johnny and Callum are ready for it. They want to move forward, believing love is worth the risk.
EastEnders’ Jonno’s Return And Ben’s Homecoming Complicate Things
Jonno Highway is back in Albert Square. He was not on the BBC soap for many years. When he returned, people assumed that he might have changed. But that’s not the case as he hasn’t changed a bit. He asks Callum for money, and Callum comes to know that he is here only for his selfish motives. It exposed the same toxic patterns which was the reason why their relationship is so fractured today. However, Callum refuses to lend him money. He quickly asks his father to leave before things turn ugly.
Jonno stormed off but collapsed from a heart attack. Callum was left stunned seeing his father on the ground. No matter how much things were torn, the fact is Jonno was his father, and nothing could ever change that truth. However, things take a turn for the worse. Johnno doesn’t survive; he is dead. Soon Ben Mitchell and Stuart Highway would return for Jonno’s funeral. Ben will come face-to-face with Callum for the first time in months. Nobody knows if Callum still feels the same for Ben now or if Johnny Carter has taken his place.
Actor Charlie Suff says that the storyline is going to be more dramatic. Johnny wants to give Callum the love and support that he deserves. However, Ben’s return could complicate things.
