Callum Opens Up To Johnny
Callum has been struggling with guilt ever since sparks flew with Johnny. Callum’s husband, Ben, is behind bars for some fraud he committed. Callum couldn’t resist his feelings towards Johnny. They shared a kiss earlier; however, now it has grown into something else.
We also saw Jonno returning to The Square. He stayed the same, even directing homophobic insults at Eve. That is when Callum comes to rescue her and is shocked to see his father there. Eve admits it was Jono behind those insults and asks Callum to arrest him. Johnny wants to fix things between Jonno and Callum. So he requested Jonno to come home.
However, things escalated, and Jonno suffered a heart attack. But his last words were cruel for Callum. He told Johnny to inform Callum that his dad is ashamed of him. But Johnny lied to Callum and instead shared with him that his father was asking for forgiveness. Callum believed that at least his father found peace in the end. He was relieved and felt gratitude. He then kissed Johnny and admitted that this was what he wanted. Callum tells Johnny that he wants a future with him. He confessed that Johnny is all he needs in life. Then they were both preparing for Jonno’s funeral.
Callum wants everyone at The Albert to see he and Johnny are together. He no longer wants to keep their relationship a secret. Even Johnny wanted the same. However, he requested to wait until the funeral before they make it official. Callum agreed with Johnny’s words. However, Johnny was still feeling guilty for lying to him about Jonno. It is becoming difficult for him to live with the lie forever. Will Callum understand the reason behind hiding the truth?
Ben’s Return Brings More Drama To EastEnders
Jonno’s funeral will bring Ben back into the picture. We already saw some on-location photos in which he shares a kiss with Callum on his release day. But the interesting thing is that even Johnny was present there.
Callum feels torn between the two. He still cares for Ben; however, he feels complete and right with Johnny. Actor Charlie Suff, who plays Johnny, says things will only get more dramatic in the upcoming episodes.
