EastEnders is one of the most loved shows in Britain. From time to time, soap operas use references from the outside/real world, and something like this happened recently with Big Mo on the BBC One soap.
TV and radio presenter Rylan Clark hilariously responded to a comment made by Mo on the show. The former X factor contestant posted a funny video on his social media account about it. Keep scrolling to find more details!
Rylan Clark Responds To Show’s Mention With Humour
The 35-year-old presenter has responded to his mention on the latest episode of BBC One soap with a funny video. In the episode where viewers saw Stevie and Mo teaming up to sell some toasters in order to help Will, Mo said something about Rylan.
While selling the toasters, Mo attempted to increase sales by telling a potential customer: “You know who’s got one like this? Rylan off the telly, and he knows good quality.”
After this iconic scene came to attention, Clark observed his brief cameo on the show and responded to it. Rylan took to Instagram and shared a short clip of his own. In the video, fans were able to see him using his toaster, but it didn’t work.

As he walked off, he called out Mo’s name in anger. ‘She better watch out next time I’m in Walford,” he wrote in the caption. Even though this response was done just for a few laughs, we would love to see Rylan making a proper cameo on the show.
Over the past few years, the Walford residents have welcomed celebrities from the real world, like Olly Alexander, Rag N Bone Man, and Harry Redknapp. So, it seems like the producers can start giving a call to Rylan too.
Furthermore, almost a decade ago, Clark had even expressed his interest in joining the BBC One soap. “I’d love to get into acting,” he said while speaking to the Daily Star. “I just love EastEnders. People think I was born in Essex, but I was born in Stepney in East London. I think I could do it. It would be great to play a proper hardman.”
We would all love to see Rylan join the soap and create more drama. Until then, stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more EastEnders news & updates! Also, tell us in the comments if Clark will be better suited as a Slater or a Mitchell on the show.
