EastEnders moves into uneasy territory as Vicki Fowler reaches a point she can no longer hide from. Her past with Joel sits like a shadow behind every moment. But when Chelsea pushes her to face the truth, Vicki must decide whether she’s ready to hear it. Keep scrolling to learn more.
Chelsea Challenges Vicki’s Growing Problems
The episode began with a milestone as it was Ross and Vicki’s second anniversary. However, Vicki was still stuck with what had happened months back. She couldn’t move forward with Joel’s brutal attack on her. Ross and Vicki are trying to handle every day in their own way. However, the two know that the fallout was too big to ignore.
Then Vicki gets restless, and so she visits Harry’s Barn to distract herself. However, what she sees there shakes her up. She sees a male punter behaving wrongly with a girl. She snaps in anger and cannot hold what is happening around her. However, Chelsea notices Vicki’s strange behaviour and she steps in. She doesn’t want to judge her; however, she can’t even ignore the truth either.
She then takes her aside and tells her that she cannot let Joel’s behaviour twist every situation. Chelsea then says that what Joel did was not right in any way; in fact, it was horrible. However, she cannot put every man in the same box. She doesn’t raise her tone; rather, she explains her words in a very steady manner.
And after this, there is a sudden change within Vicki. Even though not completely still, Chelsea’s words have stuck with her in her mind. And it is something she cannot even ignore. Now it pushes Vicki to confront the things she has been trying to ignore.
Ross And Vicki Reopen Old Wounds In EastEnders
Later, Ross arrived at the Barn. And there he sees Vicki on the dancefloor. However, Vicki gets irritated after he says something. She thinks he is overdoing things. However, he only wanted to make her comfortable. Even Ross doesn’t realise what wrong he did to get this kind of a reaction.
Still, he manages to convince her to have a drink. Then Ross apologises for how bad things were during Joel’s ordeals. He says he failed to understand what she needed from him during that time. And also feels guilty for mishandling things.
And for a while, Vicki just lets him be. She is not pushing him back and not shutting him down. After some time, they finally decided to take things slowly. Vicki tells Ross that she still needs time to rebuild trust. Will Vicki and Ross be able to start fresh? For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
