EastEnders character Chrissie’s arc is finally nearing its end. Her comeback reopened the story around Zoe’s case and the role Jasmine played in it, putting the focus back on everything that followed her release from prison. Chrissie’s Ending Is Set After The Reveal Around Zoe And Jasmine

After nineteen years, Chrissie returned in September and was seen again on Christmas Eve. The plot went on to reveal how she was connected to the old case. The scheme that was carried out to harm Zoe was made known and her part in the story was highlighted. She thought that the Slater women had never paid for their part in the murder of Den Watt, which is why she kept after Zoe. When pressed, she answered that Jasmine had masterminded the smear campaign.

However, it certainly increased the pressure, especially after the row with Kat following Anthony Truemans death. During an interview, the actress confirmed that the last episode would not be a re, telling of the old Den, related ending. She revealed that the team has come up with a more cheerful ending.

“It’s a nice and happy ending. It’s dramatic. And it’s been really lovely to go back in, walk around the square, and interact with people, she said.” Besides that, the actor added, There are a few nice little Easter Eggs in there, running into characters. It’s been a real privilege to come back in and play her again.

Grant’s Return Pushes The Next Big Movement In EastEnders

Meanwhile, a legendary character is returning. Yes, Ross Kemp, who played the iconic Grant Mitchell, will soon be seen on our screens. The actor was a part of the soap for the fortieth anniversary last year. Grant’s old mate Nigel Bates had contacted him because he was concerned aboutPhil Mitchell’s deteriorating mental state. 

When Grant returned, he saw a helpless Phil trying to commit suicide. Later, the two brothers had an explosive fallout. However, before leaving for Portugal, he did visit Phil one last time. And now, a year later, his estranged son Mark will call him to Walford. Also, this would be their first meeting since Mark discovered his true parentage.
