Cindy Beale is about to make waves in EastEnders this week. Her grandson Louie’s birthday hasn’t gone as planned, and tensions are running high. EastEnders’ Cindy Offers To Move In
It’s Louie Branning’s birthday. And Lauren Branning is worried as the present she ordered online for him has not yet arrived in time. Now she does not have a gift for Louie on his special day. Lauren has to take care of her newborn. She also has to look after Louie. Oscar, the troubled teenager, is always on Lauren’s mind. And it has really made her feel overwhelmed.
Louei had run away with his baby brother Jimmy. And everybody in the Branning-Beales thought they had gone missing. So the kids need to be more supervised so that they do not land themselves and their families in trouble. However, Cindy sees it as an opportunity and gets involved. She speaks with Peter Beale and tells him that she wants to move into Number 25 to help the children. She says she wants to look after Louie and Jimmy so that their parents’ workload is reduced. However, she is not here only to help and has an agenda. She actually wants to reconnect with her family. She wants to prove to everybody that she can be useful once again.
Cindy feels her experience could be useful. She makes Peter understand that she will help the children with homework. And will ensure the children’s schedules are easier to manage. Lauren is torn apart as she has to manage her work and also look after the kids. So Cindy’s help would make things easy. She wants to prove herself as a useful grandmother. However, we don’t know if her help would be beneficial or if it is for her own gain. We will get to see how Peter, Lauren and even Louie react to her presence and her suggestions.
Cindy Receives Mixed Reactions From The Family
Everyone remembers Cindy’s past. Though she is occasionally homeless, people are now inferring that Cindy is up to something wrong. So her move could be a manipulation. Given that she was staying with the family, she would have to help with child care and their daily life. But whether Peter would ever let her in the house again is unknown. And what if Lauren is not comfortable sharing her responsibilities with Cindy?
