Beloved EastEnders actress Clair Norris has started a new chapter after leaving the soap. The actress, who played Bernie Taylor for eight years, is now selling some of her old clothes online. Clair Norris had left the BBC soap three months ago. And now, she’s putting her old clothes on Vinted, including blouses, T-shirts, and dresses. Elsewhere, the prices start from just £3. She is even offering a copy of Daisy May Cooper’s 2021 memoir and a Sex and the City DVD box set.
All she wants to do is connect with her fans after saying goodbye to her long-running role. Her exit followed the departure of the Taylor family. And so the soap bosses had to write out Bernie Taylor. Clair was emotional after that. She also spoke about the beautiful 8 years she played Bernie. Not only her co-stars but also her fans were the ones with whom she managed to create a strong link.
Still, we mostly regard it as a hard time for her during her working life. However, she considered it a common end. “It is sad for sure, but then again, I was there for already eight years, which is more than enough to bring a character to life, and I just loved being part of the series,” she remarked.
Clair learned a lot about her craft, which helped her grow as an actress. She is grateful that the soap gave her a chance to learn on the job. However, she is looking forward to applying that knowledge in other projects. Her departure is more like exploring new avenues. And it could be drama, theatre or even documentaries.

And all these experiences have boosted her confidence to look for roles outside Albert Square. When she left the show, she was sad. However, now she is excited about her future.
