Will this final push for justice push Patrick over the edge? Keep scrolling to learn more.
Patrick Caught In A Difficult Request
Patrick has already been shaken by everything that has happened since Jasmine first arrived in Walford. At first, he was angry at Zoe. However, he soon learnt that his own granddaughter had killed his son. Now, Jasmine awaits her trial.
Next week, the Crown Prosecution Service will approach Patrick. They come with a request that instantly unsettles the Truemans. The officers want a video statement for Jasmine’s trial. However, reliving those events again will be overwhelming. The Truemans have already dealt with so much.
Hence, they are clearly uncomfortable speaking on camera about Anthony’s death. With this statement, Patrick will be forced to revisit those painful moments. Does Patrick have the strength to take it on without sinking under the emotional weight?
Josh And Patrick Connect As He Pushes Zoe Away In EastEnders
Patrick has now been put under pressure. On the other hand, Josh is dealing with his own complicated problem. When the newcomer arrived in Walford, he felt many emotions. However, soon he spent time with Patrick. And this brought a calm to both of them which they honestly were not expecting. They soon grow close.
And one of the reasons is that Josh carefully distances himself from Zoe. Later, Zoe tries to connect with him. But he feels overwhelmed. Hence, he decides it’s better to step back. He didn’t want to force something that didn’t feel steady to him. Later, Kim passes a careless remark about Jasmine disrupting everything.
And Josh is caught off guard with that one statement. Now, he is thinking about whether meeting her twin sister would bring some clarity. As we know, Jasmine is awaiting her trial. The teenager has also decided to plead guilty to Anthony’s murder.
Even the CPS are waiting for Patrick’s decision. Will the grieving father agree to record that statement? Or will he protect his own peace this time? For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
