EastEnders Icon Danny, best known for portraying Mick Carter on the BBC, has been keeping busy ever since he left Walford in 2022. According to sources, his latest gig with The Football Factory director Nick Love is being called Marching Powder, and beware—it’s not for the light-hearted! In the new trailer, Dyer was seen in the role of Jack Jones, asking his wife to join him in bed.
The official synopsis of the movie says, ‘Set in the irreverent and profane world of cult classic The Football Factory, the film follows the story of Jack Jones (Danny Dyer), an aging, drug-taking football hooligan who feels increasingly irrelevant in today’s society as he struggles to keep his family together.’ It also revealed that the character is hooked on drugs and struggling to pull back from his fellow football fans.

Furthermore, Danny’s character will be arrested after some violent matchday exploits, and he will be given six weeks to turn his life around, or else he might face a long time in prison. This sounds so interesting, so we might see the soap star now juggling his marriage, his friends, and his family. Will he be able to do so while managing to stay out of prison? I guess we’d have to wait and watch to find out.
