Elaine feels hopeful after George offers her support. The businesswoman had faced a setback with a double-booked venue. Hence, her campaign seemed to fall apart. This chance was something very personal for Elaine, so it also crushed her confidence. With this opportunity, she wanted to show everyone that she still had the spark of a landlady even though the Vic isnt hers anymore.
Later, George Knight becomes her saviour. He offers her to use his Knight Fusion for free. According to sources, “Elaine’s vulnerability really moves George. There’s a part of him that still feels responsible for Elaine losing the pub.”
Elaine uses this opportunity to push harder. Then she celebrates the win and shares the news with Ian. however, she does it in a way that feels a little too satisfying for her. And Ian isn’t very pleased with her excitement.
Ian feels that her campaign might suddenly get ahead of his. And this leaves him rattled. The rival snaps back at her. Soon, the two grow more irritated and now the whole thing goes beyond the usual bickering. But what comes next is somebody nobody expected. Elaine and Ian’s clash gets physical. It surprises everyone around them.
Is Ian Faking An Olive Branch?
Later in the week, Ian appears with fish and chips to sort things out with Elaine. She is unable to understand whether her rival is trying to smooth things over. Or if it is another one of his antics?
In the upcoming days, we will see if Elaine decides to forgive him or if the fight turns darker. We know things aren’t that easy in Walford sense. Elaine and Ian’s connection is too complicated for a quick fix. Soon, even the voters will choose a side.
