Eve’s Past Comes Knocking In EastEnders
Eve and Suki are going through an intense time. They have seen heartbreaks, yet have reunited every time. However, after fighting hard to stay together, they have now faced another challenge that might strain their relationship. It all began when Suki wanted to raise Avani’s baby as their own.
However, Eve was not ready. And this brought along tension in their relationship. Eve doubted she could be a good mother, but over time, she softened. Now, she was ready to start fresh with Suki. She told Suki that she wanted to go for adoption. She wanted to build a family with Suki, leaving her past behind.
The couple were ready with their adoption plans. They then even meet some agencies. However, one of them says that to go ahead with it, they would need Eve’s mother’s reference. Eve and her mother do not have a good bond, and so Eve gets worried. However, now her mother, Norma, has arrived in Walford. Heather Peace said Norma’s arrival will test their trust and patience. Whatever fears Suki and Eve have tried to bury will reappear right in front of them.
A New Chapter For Eve And Suki
Heather is proud to bring this story to life. She said,” This is the next chapter. It’s a way to bring them together and work together, which is what I’ve been wanting to see for a while.”
She also called it “a bit of soap history”. The BBC soap is trying to show same-sex relationships. And that has to be built on honesty and love. Heather wants people to see how Suki and Eve are holding each other strong despite the challenges they face.
However, they will not have an easy journey. Norma is going to make it tougher for both of them. She will force Eve to think about her past and whether she could be a good mum. Heather wants the story to focus on Suki and Eve’s unity, not on their heartbreak.
