EastEnders’ Zoe Is Coming BACK To The Soap?
EastEnders can’t wait to see Zoe Slater returning back to the soap soon. They are eager to see her soon. The Slaters will celebrate 25 years on the soap. Michelle Ryan, who played the character, was on the soap from 2000 to 2005. In the last 20 years, at several times the fans have demanded to get her back on the soap, but unfortunately that has not happened yet. But it seems this time the fans are not going to back off until they see Zoe back on the soap.
This came after Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, announced she is taking an extended break from the soap. Recently one of the bosses, Kate Oates, also addressed the rumour of a legacy character coming back to the soap, and she sort of accepted that it is happening.
Taking to Reddit, the viewers kept their suggestion on the table about who’s returning to Walford. A fan wrote, “I reckon they’ve finally convinced Zoe’s actress for the rumoured Slater week in September (to mark 25 years).”
Fans Want To See Zoe Back
Adding to it, another viewer added, “Oh, that would be amazing.” Whereas adding to the speculation, a third fan added, “I’d be pretty delighted with that outcome tbh!” Another viewer commented, “With Zoe, I think it’s time they just recast if Michelle Ryan doesn’t want to come back.”
Continuing the speculation, a fan took it to X and penned down: “With Stacey gone, it’s perfect timing for a full-time return for Sam or Zoe. There’s going to be a huge Slater-shaped hole on the Square.” Zoe has been part of some major plots.
One of which was when Kat revealed that Zoe is not her sister but her daughter. Later she was seen having a romantic relationship with Dennis Rickman. Which did not work because of her adopted sister Sharon Watts. She also murdered Den Watts, but as Sam saw Chrissie striking the final blow, the blame was on her.
Later she even tried fleeing, but she was caught, and Sam and Zoe were on the clear end. We hope to see her back on the soap. Until then, keep reading Soap Opera Daily for more such EastEnders updates.
