Gurlaine Shares Her Dad’s Miraculous Recovery Journey
Gurlaine shared a touching update regarding her father’s recent health battle. The actress posted on Good Friday to reveal the difficult month her family has endured. She shared a series of photos, documenting his recovery journey. It highlighted her father’s serious hospital stay and his finally enjoying a meal at home.
The transition from a hospital bed to the dinner table was an emotional one for the entire Garcha family. Also, just four weeks ago, her father was in intensive care. He faced the dual challenge of pneumonia and sepsis. In the images shared he was hooked up to monitors. But seeing him now in his usual self, enjoying a roast dinner, has been a relief to his loved ones.
The actress was grateful for the medical care her father received during the lengthy stay. The actress captioned, “Just over 4 weeks ago…to today. A post to show appreciation for my dad. What a hero. Beating not only pneumonia but sepsis too and a lengthy stay in intensive care. Grateful for the NHS, thankful to almighty God. LOVE YOU, DAD!!!!!!”
Her former BBC soap co-stars also sent warm wishes on her post. A fan wrote, “Sending you and your family so much love and strength.” Another shared, “So sorry you’ve been through such a hellish time but what an incredible papa xxx.” A third commented, “Oh bless, such a hard time for him and the family.
