Harry’s Captivity and the Tense Rescue In EastEnders
Harry Mitchell wanted to protect Kojo Asare from the drug trap; however, his plan backfired. His father, Teddy Mitchell, had set up a secret camera in the flat to expose Ravi and Okie’s criminal drug business. However, they soon found out about it and thought it was all Harry’s plan. And so they kidnapped him and have locked him inside a small flat.
There are only drugs beside Harry in the room. And when he felt that things were not working in his favour, he turned to drugs for his salvation. Elsewhere, Okie is constantly behind Harry. He even lied that he had an intimate moment with Harry’s girlfriend, Gina Knight. Meanwhile, Teddy, who was not aware that his son was in Walford only, left for Cardiff to find him. Elsewhere, Okie had forced Harry to call Kojo and ask him to come back. However, Harry, instead of asking him to return, asked him to run away from Walford.
But Harry gets the biggest shock of his life when Kojo returns to his friend. Kojo then gives Harry assurance that they will be safely out. Then, Okie offers Kojo drugs, but he refused to take them. Meanwhile, Ravi Gulati has no idea that Harry and Kojo are still captive. Before heading for a short trip with his family, Ravi had told Okie to release Harry. However, Okie took charge and didn’t follow his orders.
Redemptions And Fans’ Reactions
Fans are already assuming that they could see Ravi’s possible redemption arc. One fan said, “Ravi has played a role in all the chaos that’s hurt Harry and Kojo. He shouldn’t get away without consequences.” Another said, “It feels like Ravi needs to make things right. He’s done too much wrong to walk free.”
However, some fans think that Ravi’s redemption will come at a cost. “Even if he tries to help, the criminals he’s worked with will make him pay. He could lose Priya or even his children,” a fan said. Others also spoke about the conflict between Harry and Ravi.
