The This Morning Host, Dermot O’Leary, has made his way to Walford, well, kind of. He appeared in the role of a radio presenter who held a competition to win a holiday to Greece. Regular viewers of the show witnessed Kathy Beale listening to him in the cafe as O’Leary revealed the question. He went on and asked, ‘What links these three words – mincing, frying pan, little Britain? ‘A trip for two, sun, sea sand, you know the rest…’
While Kathy was ranting about her former Greece trip, Harvey used her phone to enter the competition for her, and he got the answer right—eing a cab driver—London Streets. Later, the Walford cafe owner received another call from Dermot while being live on the soap, and he asked her another question to win the vacation. To our surprise, she didn’t know this one either, but Harvey did—after getting the answer from the cabby, she answered it.

Later, Kathy gives the tickets to Harvey because he truly deserves it. As for Dermot, he has previously spoken to show writer, Sharon Marshall about making a cameo on the BBC programme. ‘I’d quite like to be a police officer on EastEnders or Corrie,’ he revealed, as Sharon agreed that he had ‘the look of an off-duty copper.’ We are glad to see that Dermot was able to make his dream come true.
