EastEnders Icons To Reunite For Lacey’s Podcast
EastEnders legend Lacey Turner, who grew up on our screens as Stacey Slater, is interviewing iconic television talent on her new podcast, We Started Here, by the BBC. It launched on all platforms recently and will celebrate the achievements of several TV and film icons, from both behind and infront of the camera. This series will feature the stars who started their journey in the entertainment industry through soaps.
The broadcast giant has now confirmed the guest list for the first series of the show and it has kicked off with Jessie Wallace. The actress who plays Kat Slater talked about her journey on the BBC soap and how she wanted her on-screen daughter, Zoe, to return. Fans will also see Walford legend Anita Dobson, who portrayed Angie Watts on the podcast. We know she was one of the most iconic characters who was in Square from 1985-1988.
It will also feature former EastEnders actor Rakhee Thakrar and Davood Ghadami. Viewers will remember Rakhee from Wonka and Sex Education, while Ghadami went to become a regular in Holby City. Along with these actors, the first series will also bring in guest appearances by acclaimed screenwriter and producer, Jimmy McGovern. Former Hollyoaks legends Ricky Whittle and Mandip will also join Turner in her show.

We will also see the Walford fan-favorite sharing insights about her own journey in the industry.
